Current Nail Polish: Nfu Oh 61

I wanted to start a series where I post the polish I am wearing whenever I change my nails, kind of like a NOTD. I'm an admitted nail polish addict so I may as well put it to good use!

For the past few days, I've been wearing Nfu Oh 61, a GORGEOUS silver holo. This color is absolutely stunning and I'm so glad I have it in my collection.

Here it is on my nails. I'm so happy the flash captured the amazing holographic effect! and look at that bottle! It's so detailed and definitely does not look like your standard nail polish bottle.


I am wearing it with the Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat (which helps the application and the holo effect stand out from what I've read)  and no top coat (since I find it dulls down the holo effect a bit).

MAC: A Tartan Tale Info & What I Pre-ordered

 I've been getting really excited about the upcoming MAC collections (part of why I'm considering skipping Sephora F&F) and wanted to share with you guys the info and my wishlist from them. Here is the first upcoming collection, the holiday one, A Tartan Tale!

MAC  stores (and possibly counters...not sure) are doing presales of this collection. They basically have testers out of the items, you tell them what you want to preorder, give them your name and credit card number, and they charge your card on the 28th (release date). You can pick up your items anytime after the collection is released. I would call your local store/counter to check if they're doing it to save you a trip. My store had the palettes, brush sets, lip sets, and blush sets. I've highlighted below what I preordered.

Color Club Untamed Luxury Swatches

Hey loves!

Ever since I first saw the Color Club Untamed Luxury Collection, I have been obsessed with it! It look like the perfect fall colors and on my youtube channel, I've gone as far as describing it as the Naked palette of fall nail polish, the colors I got especially, in that these are all the colors you would probably need if you weren't such an addict! I got the first 7-pack from Transdesign for $17.43. Amazing deal!

This is my first attempt at nail swatches so excuse my amatuer-ness!

Pretty in Platinum- This is a light silver. The application was amazing! I could almost get away with one coat but this was two coats just to even out.

Wild Orchid- This color is like a concrete grey with some subtle silver shimmer. This color was more sheer and required three coats to even out.

Positively Posh- The picture makes this color seem a little darker but it is a milk chocolate color. This was another one of the sheerer colors and needed three coats.

Soft as Cashmere- This is a khaki-grey-beige type of color. For some reason, the camera made it more green/olive toned. Another sheer one, three coats.

Nothing but Truffle- This is a brown with strong red/gold shimmers and irridescence. The gold doesn't quite show up on the nails. This has an amazing formula and only needed two coats.

Jewel of a Girl- This color is pretty similar to Nothing but Truffle but it is a deep red, where Nothing but Truffle is more brown. Both are gorgeous, deep colors. This one had a great formula and needed two coats.

Ready to Royal- This is a deep, deep purple. The application was a little iffy but still was opaque in two coats.

I only have half the collection but my overall view on this part of the collection is very positive. Like I said, these are amazing basic colors for fall and I highly recommend checking out this collection.

Five Random Facts About Me & a Blog Makeover

I've spent the past few hours giving my blog a makeover and if you're reading this, you probably see it!

I recently updated my blackberry to an Iphone 4 (love) and had no clue the camera was so amazing! Many random photos later, I was inspired to put it to good use towards this blog and stop neglecting this thing =]

My first post on this newly remade blog is a "Five Random Facts" one, just for your guys to get to know me a little better.

1. I am very instinctual. If something doesn't feel right, I take that as a sign.

2. I'm a nail polish ADDICT. I have recently filled up my nail polish rack, and am contemplating another one =X

3. Helping people makes me happy. I love my Youtube channel because it allows me to do this. If I have helped even one person, my goal is complete.

4. I am IN LOVE with Express. Love their style, fit, quality, even the employees are amazing. I would go to Express over Forever 21 any day!

5. My signature scent is Ralph Lauren's Romance. I don't have a "perfume collection" because I have worn the same perfume for about 4 years. I find this scent matches my personality and body chemistry and though I've tried to stray from it, nothing else really suits me.

Ins and Outs

Oh well hi, neglected blog =] How are you loves? I realize I haven't updated in..quite some time! Incase any of you are not aware, I update my Youtube and Twitter FAR more often than my blog. SORRY BLOG!

Anyway, so after a while, how about I update you guys on my Ins and Outs...

IN
- Amazing people- I am so thankful for the support from not only people in my "real" life but from everyone on youtube and twitter! It's so great to be surrounded by positive energy and I find that's one of the most important things in life!
- Nice, breezy weather- After NYC's humidity and then rain...some nice calm, sunnyness has made me oh, so happy!
-Nail Polish- HI! I'm obsessed! I'm 2 or 3 polishes away from a filled nail polish rack! EEK! That speaks for itself lol I love getting nail polish, using it, admiring it...you get the point =]

-Inspiration- I love being inspired and excited to do something. Whether it's a new look, new product, anything! The adrenaline of inspiration is amazing! One blog I will mention that I LOVE and am SO inspired by is http://seriesofexperiments.com/ .  I love Emily's writing, her looks, and her wisdom. I've also been talking to her on twitter and  she's just such a sweet and gorgeous girl.  Definitely check out her blog as she JUST made a comeback (which I was soo excited about hehe).

-Back to school supplies- I know...DORK! haha There's just something about the supplies that have me so excited! Especially planners =]

-Express- I have been obsessed with this store! I can list 53475935 different ways it's better than stores like Forever 21 and H&M but how about: soft quality, great fit, HAPPY FACES ON EMPLOYEES lol

 - Negativity- I hate seeing it or hearing it! Whether it is people putting others down, or people putting THEMSELVES down....I just don't want to see it! I love positive energy, it's a lot more productive!
- MAC collections- Although I did get a few items from the Fabulous Felines collection..I'm disappointed in the rest of it AND MAC's collections overall. It saddens me that they settles for quantity over quality.
- Long hours- This is going to be an upcoming out. My schedule for this semester will be 9am -7pm from Mon to Thurs everyday including school and work. Can we get a "phew"?
