New Year's Celebration Nails

I hope you all had a great new year's celebration! I'm currently upstate in Rochester, NY with my family and am having a very relaxing weekend (just what I needed!)

Before we left I wanted to do a unique nail "look" for the celebrations and want to share with you guys what I did. Since I SUCK at nail art, this is what I used:

(left to right) Nfu Oh Aqua Base Coat, Zoya Trixie (two coats), Nfu Oh 61 (one coat), Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I should have put another coat of the Nfu Oh 61but it came out to a really nice metallic effect.

Look at that holo!!

How was you New Year's Celebration? Did you have festive nails? What polishes did you use?

Current Nail Polish: Nfu Oh 61

I wanted to start a series where I post the polish I am wearing whenever I change my nails, kind of like a NOTD. I'm an admitted nail polish addict so I may as well put it to good use!

For the past few days, I've been wearing Nfu Oh 61, a GORGEOUS silver holo. This color is absolutely stunning and I'm so glad I have it in my collection.

Here it is on my nails. I'm so happy the flash captured the amazing holographic effect! and look at that bottle! It's so detailed and definitely does not look like your standard nail polish bottle.

I am wearing it with the Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat (which helps the application and the holo effect stand out from what I've read)  and no top coat (since I find it dulls down the holo effect a bit).

You can find Nfu Oh polishes at http://fabuloustreet.com/ . They are $12.50 each (a bit pricey, I know) but U.S. orders are free shipping.

What your current nail polish?
